By Jeff Kapembwa Lusaka - Motivated by the rise in global feature film production, Zambia has joined the industry with the production of a blockbuster movie titled ‘The Borderline’. Given its plot, theme and climax of the production, the film is set to leave one grilled to the seat. The Borderline pays homage to the “film noir” genre. Film noir (dark film) is a style of movie characterised by a mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace exemplified by Hollywood crime dramas, as adduced through synopsis. It is also believed to be the first film noir movie to be produced in Zambia.
