Zambia Airways has announced the appointment of Bruk Endeshaw Abebe as the new Chief Executive Officer for the national airline. The decision was finalized on February 7 during Zambia Airway's inaugural board meeting. Bruk Endeshaw Abebe has experience in the aviation industry of 24 years and is currently Ethiopian Airlines' Director of Sales and Services for Southern Africa. The government of Zambia ventured into a shareholder agreement with Ethiopian Airlines last year via the Industrial Development Company. As strategic partners on the national airline project, Industrial Development Company will hold 55 percent equity with Ethiopian Airlines holding 45 percent in the carrier.
