LAHORE: Television actor Matloobur Rehman popular for his character ‘Zakoota’ in the children’s comedy Ainak Wala Jin passed away in Lahore late Friday at the age of 68. The legendary actor, also known as Munna Lahori, became popular after appearing in the hit children’s TV series Ainak Wala Jin, a household name in the 1990s. Zakoota is still remembered for his dialogue, “Mujhe kaam batao, mein kya karun, mein kisko khaon? ).”Rehman suffered from partial paralysis, as well as, according to some reports, diabetes, in his old age. But now, in old age, I am living without electricity and gas,” he said.
