Controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik has been extolling the now dead al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, a notice pasted outside the office of Naik's banned organisation Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) said. The notice postedThe notice further says the IRF, its members and particularly Zakir Naik is provoking disharmony and attempting to promote ill will between religions. c) Sawantwadi police registered a case against Naik in 2012 for making derogatory comments on Hindu gods he has been chargesheeted in 2014. E) Kurla police registered a case in 2013 under IPC and IT sections against Naik for insulting Hindu gods.
