Zakir Musa has quit as commander of Hizbul Mujahideen after the terror outfit's mastermind in PoK Syed Salahuddin strongly condemned his threat to Hurriyat leaders on Friday. On Friday, Hizbul Mujahideen had said, "Zakir Musa's statement is unacceptable and the outfit does not subscribe to the statement". It reflects the personal opinion of Zakir Musa." Musa and Hizbul Mujahideen also had differences of opinion on the issues of Al Qaeda, ISIS and Taliban fighters.
