GEORGE TOWN: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi wants the Royal Malaysia Police to ensure that the 14th General Election will be the cleanest and most peaceful ever held in the country. Dr Ahmad Zahid also urged the police force not to favour any party and to conduct their duties professionally. "We do not want any form of disturbance that can disrupt peace and order," he said, adding that he wants the 14th General Election to be the cleanest and most peaceful ever held in the country. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Friday (April 6) had announced the dissolution of Parliament effective today (April 7), to make way for the polls. The general election must be held within 60 days of Parliament's dissolution.
