Crane delivery © Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal (HHIT)China’s ZPMC has delivered three STS cranes from its Changxing branch to Vietnam’s Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal (HHIT). The project involves a total of five STS cranes, designed with an outreach of 68m, a back reach of 16m, and a lifting height of 52.5m. The cranes are intended for Hateco’s two new deep-water berths, each 450 metres long, with a combined length of 900m, that are being constructed at Lach Huyen port. The infrastructure and equipment deployment, including five STS cranes and 14 RTG cranes, are expected to be completed by the end of 2024, with operations commencing in early 2025.
