He held meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu, Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, and Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel, according to the Chief Advisor's Office. On the second day of the COP29 summit, Yunus addressed world leaders, outlining his vision for a world made of the ‘three zeroes’ -- zero net carbon emissions, zero wealth concentration, and zero unemployment. Later, he also met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, and former British prime minister Theresa May on the sidelines of the summit.
