Muhammad Yunus, former chief advisor to the interim government that preceded the BNP administration, has exchanged Eid greetings with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the State Guest House Jamuna. Ruman said members of the prime minister’s family, including his wife Zubaida Rahman, were present at the time. The prime minister had earlier offered Eid prayers at the National Eidgah before going to the Jamuna. After arriving there, he first exchanged greetings with diplomats and later with people from different walks of life. He then visited the graves of his parents, former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia, at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
