Tione Tione, 40, must serve a minimum period of 13 years behind bars for the murder of 43-year-old Troy Wright. At the High Court at Auckland on Thursday, Wright's mother Mary Wright told the court she had been to hell and back. "Losing Troy to murder has had a big effect on my family," she told Tione. Tione was living in a caravan but prior to Wright's death Tione said he wanted to take over Wright's lease.
