The Youth-to-Youth Center held an open house this week for the community to check out its new space in the basement of the city auditorium. Mother-to Mother Outreach program entered into an agreement with the City of Beatrice in January to renovate space previously occupied by the Beatrice Fire Department for a youth center. The Youth-to-Youth Center will open Wednesday, March 20. The Youth-to-Youth center is modeled after an organization in Aurora. “I didn’t have a lot of self-worth as a kid, but I attended a youth center called “The Cellar”.
