Our Special CorrespondentTangra: A youth was murdered in Tangra barely 24 hours after a Trinamul worker and construction material supplier was stabbed to death in front of an office of the ruling party in the same area. Ishtiaque Hossain, 25, was stabbed repeatedly by one of his associates with whom he was drinking on Saturday night beside railway tracks. "We came to know that Avishek suddenly pounced on Hossain and started stabbing her," an officer at Tangra police station said. Barely 24 hours before the fatal attack, Trinamul worker and building material supplier Babu Sarkar was killed in front of an office of the ruling party in China Town. The police said Sarkar had been called to the party office by his business rival Barka, who was a Trinamul worker, too.
