Your Letters: If NDP win, Horwath will need to change her attitude

Horwath won’t work with party rivals, June 5Aside from her rude behaviour during the last debate by continually interrupting other candidates, NDP leader Andrea Horwath is also proving herself to be somewhat of an autocrat. By saying she won’t work with the other parties, she is essentially saying “It’s my way or the highway.” to Ontario voters. That attitude also reveals that she doesn’t understand that responsible governance requires recognition that a majority of voters did not vote for your party or its policies and may involve compromise. Let’s hope she comes to her senses if the NDP actually wins the most seats in the election. Otherwise, Ontarians can expect another election really soon.
