A young Donegal teacher who fell to his death from a balcony in Dubai had only travelled there last year to find work. Emmett Blain died following the tragedy on Friday night. The popular young teacher, who was in his 20s, had taught in the Abbey Vocational School in Donegal Town and St Eunans College in Letterkenny before travelling abroad. Mr Blain was originally from the village of Mountcharles, outside Donegal town. “Everybody in Saint Eunan’s College would like to send their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Emmett Blain.
