A young man who was threatening to harm himself in the Codroy Valley area is safe, police say. RCMP had blocked off a road and a wooded area in the area earlier on Wednesday after receiving reports that the young man was in possession of a firearm. Police said the boy was taken into custody without incident and is currently receiving medical attentionRoute 406 in the community of Great Codroy had been closed to traffic since 8 a.m. Wednesday. By 1:40 p,m, RCMP informed the public that the boy is now safe.
