Young musicians given a chance to perform in Windsor under Slough scheme

Young musical artists performed live in Windsor on Sunday – under the wing of a Slough group that works to tackle violence by supporting creative pursuits. Members of the Love Music Hate Violence team were booked to DJ and MC at the Ignition Valentines under 18s event, held at The Boom in The Arches. The team, led by the Langley artist Stephen Ambrose (also known by his stage name Stevoss) aims to ‘spread peace and love’ through music, fostering creativity. Love Music Hate Violence is based at the Britwell Youth & Community Project youth club in Wentworth Avenue. The Police and Crime Commissioner has awarded Love Music Hate Violence with a grant from the Community Fund 2024 to use the van in schools to carry out knife crime awareness using creative arts.
