KUALA LUMPUR: There will be at least one young Malaysian educator in the 2050 National Transformation (TN50) planning committee, says Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic). "Education is a core issue touched on by all sectors during past TN50 dialogues," he told a 400-strong crowd at the TN50 National Discourse with Guru Muda 1Malaysia on Thursday. He said the views of today's young teachers are important as they would be the ones shaping the future generation who will be affected by the TN50 initiative. He added that there were over 30 aspirations shared by the teachers for the nation's education sector. TN50 is a bottoms-up effort spearheaded by the Youth and Sports Ministry.
