Stepping up for youth, Palmerston North city council candidate Vanessa Rozenberg gets some encouragement from Green MP Chloe Swarbrick. Four of the youngest candidates in the Palmerston North City Council by-election put a joint case for votes to a forum on Friday night. The forum was organised by the Green Party, which is supporting 24-year-old Vanessa Rozenberg for election, with Green MP Chloe Swarbrick in charge of the meeting. Swarbrick said all the young candidates were invited to the forum, Green or not, because it made it more interesting to hear a diversity of views. Wood said the most important thing was for people to vote at all, and preferably, to vote for all four of the young candidates, ranking them 1, 2, 3 and 4 using the STV system.
