The children met last weekend at a relay event organised by the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) and found they shared similar dreams. Datuk Seri Idris Haron commended the generosity of those who had come forward to make the children's dreams come true. Mohamd Uthman and Zarifah were diagnosed in 2015 with the same type of brain tumour, medulloblastoma, and are categorised as high risk. Zarifah, who had undergone 33 chemotherapy sessions at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), said she never expected her wish to be fulfilled. A beaming Mohamad Uthman, who had been through 12 sessions of chemotherapy at HKL, went around thanking those present by shaking their hands.
