Elizabeth Nuñez has been named the new Creative Director of the Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC). In her new role, Nuñez is expected to will lead YPC’s creative programming efforts. Núñez has been associated with YPC since 2004, playing an important role in promoting programs and developing opportunities for new initiatives. She is the creator of WIT, Women Inspiring Tomorrow, a thriving mentorship program that brings together YPC high school girls with their formerstudents and successful women in various professions. She has led YPC’s School Choruses program and has grown the program for participating schools, benefiting thousands of children throughout New York City.
