KUALA LUMPUR: Three pupils from SJK(T) Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, bagged yet another international award by clinching gold and winning the Young Scientist Award 2020 at the International Invention and Trade Expo (ITE), London. Due to Covid-19, the International Invention and Trade Expo, London (ITE) was held virtually where contestants submitted their application and innovation online. Just last month, their invention won them gold at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN) 2020 and silver at the International Festival of Engineering Science and Technology in Tunisia. They have also won a local award this year by getting first place at the Malaysia Young Scientist Conference & Exhibition last month. The team will next participate in the 31st International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition, Malaysia (ITEX) happening on Nov 21 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
