It can be widely acknowledged that 2017 has been the year for bezel-less smartphones. Google-owned YouTube added a pinch-to-zoom option that was initially only available for the Pixel 2 XL, but now the company is extending it for other Android smartphones that feature a tall aspect ratio. YouTube's pinch-to-zoom feature allows you to change the aspect ratio from the traditional 16:9 to 18:9. The update also added support for 1440p resolution which will be welcomed as the iPhone X comes with a Super Retina HD (1125x2436) display.
