Etawah: In a sign of renewed turf war in the ruling Yadav clan, former state SP chief Shivpal Yadav hinted that he may form a new party after announcement of Assembly election results on March 11, drawing a sharp reaction from SP president and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav. "Fifteen days ago I was in a mood not to contest as a party candidate but instead try my luck as an Independent. "Not able to hide his angst over the way he has been sidelined in the party after Akhilesh took charge as its president, Shivpal again reiterated his allegiance to Mulayam, his elder brother. "Shivpal also expressed his displeasure over the allotment of tickets in which his loyalists, including sitting MLAs from Etawah, were denied ticket by the party leadership. "I will campaign for those candidates, who have been denied ticket by the party leadership and and are contesting as Independents.
