There is very clear public health advice. "A message to those in our pubs and restaurants who are ignoring #COVIDー19 recommendations on social distancing. Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan earlier said he is concerned about people failing to adhere to social distancing measures introduced last week. He said: "Social distancing applies to all age groups, all people in Ireland. We need our younger generation to follow social distancing measures to protect their grandparents, parents or family members who may have underlying health conditions."
