The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has blamed the problems of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on its National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole. Responding to the party boss’ press conference where he accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of working with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following the inability of the APC to field candidates in Rivers and Zamfara States, the coalition maintained that rather than blame the opposition, Oshiomhole should examine himself because the ruling party’s problems are self-inflicted. “We make bold to say that PDP is not APC’s problem. The party’s problem is Oshiomhole’s penchant for lawless actions, compromise and bribery for which he had been invited by the Department of State Services at a time. These factors combined to ruin the party.
