All it took was peering through the window of the photographer/sculptor’s Yorkville house and spotting the red neon heart pulsing on the living room wall . Born and raised in Toronto, Drebin is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York. After graduating from Parsons in ’96, he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, also in New York, and then went to B.C. He also does lightboxes, neon-sign installations and glass wall art. His latest obsession is photo sculptures rendered through 3-D imaging, which debuted in Canada at Art Toronto from Oct. 28-31 before moving to Art Miami and Art Basel.
