With two weeks counting down to the referendum, Yingluck has posted in her personal Facebook page, urging voters to exercise their voting rights. This referendum is decided by simple majority without taking into account the number of voter turnout. "The August 7, 2016 referendum is highly significant to our country's future. Hence, the highest number of voter turnout is necessary to 1) maintain democracy, 2) determine the future by deciding whether we approve that this charter draft to be used in administrating the country, and 3) decide if the people benefit from this charter.''
