CAIRO - 10 July 2020: Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli sent an invitation to his Yemeni counterpart Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed to visit Egypt, said Egyptian ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Farouk in a statement on Thursday. The invitation, which was delivered by the Egyptian ambassador, asks for Saeed’s visit to discuss the ways of enhancing the bilateral relations, the statement added. For his part, the Yemeni Prime Minister praised Egypt’s role in supporting his country, saying that he is looking forward to this visit, the statement said. Meanwhile, Ambassador Farouk held a meeting with Saudi ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, discussing their visions regarding the latest developments in Yemen. The Riyadh agreement was signed between the Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council in the Saudi capital, with the participation of the Arab coalition in Yemen.
