Yelp has recently released its annual list of the “Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S.,” highlighting the restaurants that come highly recommended by Yelp’s online community. In total, restaurants in 28 states and Washington, D.C., were determined by Yelp to be some of the top “places to eat” in 2024. It should be noted, however, that Yelp’s 2024 rankings aren’t necessarily a reflection of the best-reviewed restaurants on its entire platform. Rather, Yelp’s list was compiled from submissions and suggestions solicited from users, which were then compared against the overall ratings and volume of reviews on each business’s Yelp page. Yelp says each eatery is also well worth a road trip, if you happen to be within driving distance.
