But while Prince thought that Wayne's Young Money Records would be a good fit for Drake, some help was needed to make that happen. Bryant then without Prince's knowledge signed Drake as a management client and formed a record company, Aspire Music Group, with Drake as its only artist. So Aspire finally fulfills the original plan, signing Drake a deal with Young Money and its parent company, Cash Money Records. Bryant, Roberson, and Lawrence are saying that Cash Money has not provided them with "a full accounting" of the money it's made from Drake. His situation with Cash Money has been contentious for several years.
