Xinjiang virus count rises to 64 with 9 more patientsNorthwestern Xinjiang reported nine new confirmed domestically infected cornavirus patients on Tuesday, the regional health commission said Wednesday, Xinhua said. The nine confirmed cases were in the regional capital Urumqi, according to the commission. The region also registered 14 new asymptomatic cases, all in Urumqi, on Tuesday. By Tuesday, Xinjiang had reported 64 confirmed virus patients and 69 asymptomatic cases, and 3,162 people were still under medical observation.
