Those genres (RTS, flight simulator, traditional card game) just aren't what people play on console. In the console space, they have bought up other companies. Not all of their acquisitions have been positive - particularly the 360 and early Xbox One launch made some terrible decisions. For the moment, I trust Spencer and the direction he's taken the company in the console space to say that this should be good for Activision-Blizzard. Like movies, this could eventually lead to less creativity in the biggest budget titles as metrics for success become more established.
