The announcement comes two weeks after the Massachusetts Gaming Commission ruled that Wynn Resorts could retain its gaming license to operate the Encore casino. Wynn Resorts cooperated with Massachusetts gaming regulators’ investigation and did not contest any of the facts in the report. The ruling came after a year-long investigation, a three-day hearing with Wynn executives, and a monthlong deliberation.
