Casino operator Wynn Macau (1128) reported a US$350 million (HK$2.73 billion) net loss for the second quarter this year. Operating revenue plunged by over 98 percent to US$20.6 million. That compared with a net profit of US$168 million in the second quarter last year. Operating revenues from Wynn Palace were US$8.7 million for the second quarter this year, a 98.6 percent decrease from a year ago. The Macau authorities have begun to gradually ease visitor restrictions, said the company, expecting the market will benefit from the return of the Chinese consumers in the second half of this year.
