There was nothing fortunate about the Shrimps' second goal, however, as Ellison smashed an unstoppable half-volley across goalkeeper Scott Brown and into the top corner. Wycombe finally responded through a daisy-cutter from substitute Nick Freeman before Luke O'Nien's crisp volley left Barry Roche standing to pull a second back late on.
