Miniature goats are fast-becoming a popular house-hold pet, because they are great with children and easily handled - Gold Coast breeder Rodney Surawski said. The farm is home to Australian Miniature, Nigerian Dwarf, Nuwby, and Pygmy goat breeds. Instagram is awash with pictured of people with their tiny goats, from being cuddled like a new puppy to slinking around the home like a cat. One man posted a photo of his miniature goat on his lap with the caption: 'Odin chilling out in the computer room.' Another woman showed off her newest goat sitting in the back of her car.
