Would school levies pass if we knew the costs ahead of vote?

The state said it has a large surplus and some legislators have stated that should be returned to the taxpayers, i.e. I have strong doubts that the levies would have passed if we all knew what it was going to cost us. I believe we should support education but when school districts deceive us as voters (whether deliberate or not) they lose all credibility. That is the case here with both the state and school districts! Sherwood SageMukilteoEditor’s note: As school levies and bonds are set for specific amounts, higher property valuations do not result in increased revenue for school districts; the millage rate is adjusted to result in the specific amount requested in the levy or bond.
