It’s fine for a lobby group to win at city council and get a law passed for their particular team. But win or not, it doesn’t help when you’re stone cold dead on the pavement because someone made a mistake. I know these vulnerable people because when I’m walking on the street or the subway platform, they walk into me. Maureen Coyle of pedestrian advocacy group Walk Toronto, whom I like, seems unafraid of death. The fact that she had right on her side according to Walk Toronto is no comfort.
