A BRAZEN shoplifter who stole nearly £2,000 worth of food and drink from the same Greggs store has finally been caught — but still avoided jail. Adam Gosling, 39, targeted it 38 times over six weeks — sometimes multiple times a day — with the theft values ranging from £12.30 up to £100. AdvertisementFootage released by the Met Police shows Gosling taking fizzy drinks from a fridge on one occasion at the shop in Greenford, West London. Gosling became such a regular that staff gave him a nickname, calling him “Hamster”. The chain has even put all items behind the counter at some stores in a bid to drive down crime.
