The man recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest, Masazo Nonaka, has died at the age of 113 at his home in Ashoro, Japan. Nonaka was certified as the oldest living man in April of last year, shortly before he celebrated his 113th birthday. He was born on July 25, 1905 - the same year that Albert Einstein pioneered his revolutionary theory of relativity, according to Kyodo News. Nonaka died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, family said, at the hot springs inn his family owned and managed for over 106 years. In fact, the woman currently recognized as the oldest living person is also Japanese, 116-year-old Kane Tanaka.
