In fulfillment of its commitment made last year, Worldwide Mission School, the 2017 National High School Football Champions, will travel to Kumasi, Ghana, to play against Adu Gyamfi Senior High School in a friendly international high school football match. Adu Gyamfi is Ghana’s 2017 Regional High School Football champions. The international travel opportunity for Worldwide Mission School, in addition to prizes, included a cash prize of US$7,000, a large trophy, and 30 medals. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament Kevin Potis of Worldwide Mission School, received a cash prize of US$1,000. The National High School Sports intentionally uses sport as a platform to reduce youth illiteracy and ultimately boost school enrollment.
