The World Darts Championship final showdown between Luke Littler and Luke Humphries pulled in a staggering 4.8million viewers for Sky Sports on Wednesday evening. The wave of interest in the sport around this year's final has in turn seen the broadcaster's documentary arm announce the commission of a three-part series set in the darts world, simply entitled 'Darts'. 'This year’s World Championship has shown how Darts can captivate the nation,' shared Tom Barry, Sky Documentaries' commissioning editor. But Littler, now a national starlet, was satisfied with his performance in his debut world championship. I'm in the top-32 (in the world ranking) and I finished runner-up in my debut (at the PDC World Championship).
