Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk says getting the United Arab Emirates to the World Cup finals for only the second time in 2022 will be the sole focus of his time in charge of the team. The 66-year-old former Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Australia coach was unveiled as the successor to Italian Alberto Zaccheroni on Thursday. The UAE has only qualified for the World Cup finals once in 1990 but could end up hosting some matches in the 2022 tournament if a political and economic rift with Qatar is healed and FIFA decides to hold a 48-team tournament. "I was also the coach of Holland and I will do exactly the same as I did there," Van Marwijk said. Asian qualifying for the 2022 World Cup begins in September.
