The World Bank’s Doing Business Research Team met with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha at Government House on Friday. The premier confirmed that Thailand is prepared to cooperate with the World Bank to upgrade the country and region. On a long-term basis, Thailand plans to develop in several areas and the World Bank's consultations and expertise will be needed. Thailand is ready to support the World Bank in establishing a partnership for national development on a sustainable basis. The research team said that the World Bank will provide consultations for Thailand’s national and regional development and that Thailand has moved in the right direction, especially regarding its digital sector.
