Working parents face tough decisions as schools reopen

Hickerson’s husband wasn’t able to work from home, so that meant she had little time for video counseling of clients. That dropped to 40 percent among parents with children in middle school who do not also have children in elementary school and to 26 percent among parents with children in high school. For working parents with both older and younger children, elder siblings appear to be taking some pressure off.
