Demolition workers were moments from being crushed after a gust of wind collapsed part of a building in Hamilton's central city. The Railway Building block of empty shops next to Centre Place is currently being demolished after being deemed unsafe for occupation. Tainui Group Holdings owns the 1920s Railway Building, which is earmarked for development as office, retail and residential space.
