The Kaduna State council of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has called on political leaders to take stock and think of reducing the number of political offices. It also called on the political leaders to reduce expenses so that the balance will be utilized to enhance other sectors in society. Speaking during the workers day celebration held at the secretariat of the congress, at Millenium city, Kaduna, the state Chairman of TUC, Abdullahi Danfulani said though they cannot outrightly blame ourgovernments for the bad economic situation. However, he noted that ‘we need to caution our Political Leaders at the National and State Levels on the need tobring down their expenses as well as, reducing their numbers in their respective areas of coverage.
