A worker has been killed and two more injured after a guarder of an under-construction flyover fell on them in Malibagh rail gate area. The deceased is Swapan, 42, son of Azimuddin from Kishoreganj’s Pakundia. “Two guarders were being lifted around 2:30am Monday. Suddenly, one of the guarders fell down after hitting the other one, leaving three people trapped under it,” fire service control room officer Belal Uddin told the Dhaka Tribune in the morning. “Fire fighters rescued the three men and rushed them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the worker died around 3am,” DMCH police outpost Sub-Inspector Bachchu Miah said.
