A worker died after falling off a under-construction building at the Mill Barrack Police Line of Gendaria in the capital on Friday morningThe deceased was identified as Bipul Roy, 35, a resident of Malbhanga village of Kurigram sadar upazila. Momin and Dilip Roy, who took Bipul to the hospital, said that Bipul injured critically ahe fell down from 6th floor of the 20-storey building around 9am during the construction work. Later, he was rescued and taken to the emergency unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead. Bachchu Mia, inspector of DMCH police outpost, said the body was kept at the hospital morgue. The matter has been reported to the police station.
