The Rapids bowled, and fielded, brilliantly in Glamorgan's innings to reduce them to just 199 runs. Ben Kellaway did his best for the visitors on debut with a brilliant 82 off 74 but he eventually ran out of partners. Bevan was caught by Azhar for 13 runs off the bowling of Ben Gibbon, who then, rather fortuitously, stumped Colin Ingram whilst the Glamorgan man was out of his crease. Bryrom played a shot that deflected off a tumbling Gibbon and onto the stumps behind him, meaning the stranded Ingram had to walk. Dillon Pennington then joined the act as he bowled Byrom on 25 and had Billy Root (5) caught behind by Ben Cox.
